With a dedication to shaping the future of drug development, they’re with our customers every step of the way, pioneering tomorrow's possibilities We are currently seeking a undergraduate/graduate level candidate to support Engineering Systems projects for our Mobius Single Use franchise, within Integrated Supply Chain Operations. The position is located at our manufacturing site in Danvers, Massachusetts. Mobius products are used in pharmaceutical bioprocessing and include a variety of highly differentiated configurations and sizes. Every assembly we manufacture has been specially designed to meet a certain application for a specific customer. The Engineering Systems Team’s primary function is to provide custom software and hardware solutions for our internal customers in the Danvers facility. The Engineering Systems Team automates processes using macros and stand-alone applications for the purposes of reducing human labor, automating mundane tasks, speeding up laborious tasks, data collection and organization. Requirements:
- Rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent, studying a Computer Science or engineering discipline
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- strong computer skills with an understanding of Microsoft platforms
- strong programming skills including VBA, C#.NET, SQL and other object-oriented languages
- strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Goal oriented
- Works well with both limited supervision and in a collaborative team environment
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized
salary: $25 - $32 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
This position will involve a variety of tasks related to custom software applications. Responsibilities include:
- Gathering requirements from internal customers for specific applications
- Organizing requirements into appropriate flowcharts and writing Software Specifications
- Developing the software using appropriate tools and programming skills pertinent to the application. Some applications may be in Excel using Excel’s VBA platform, others may be written using C#.NET, SQL or other languages as appropriate
- Website knowledge using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other common tools as necessary
- Modification to existing software projects
- Software testing, debugging and validation as required
- Writing user guides, test scripts, test protocols and final reports as required
- Submitting all documentation into our Quality Documentation System
Skills
- VBA (6 months of experience is preferred)
- C# (6 months of experience is preferred)
- .net (6 months of experience is preferred)
- SQL (6 months of experience is preferred)
